Protective Lacquer: Copper is always changing and requires frequent polishing to maintain the same brightness that is featured in the photo. To help maintain the luster and reduce polishing, you can choose to have a protective lacquer applied to your pendant. Please note that these types of lacquers may eventually wear off over time, but I will supply an abrasive polishing pad that you can use to polish the wire and remove the lacquer when the time arrives.
