The American desert has so many unique things to see, and Joshua Tree National Park is definitely one of them. Being in Joshua Tree felt like its own little world. Just us in this beautiful desert where the stress of life didn’t exist. The landscape is scattered with giant boulders that you can climb or even walk up to get a view of the world around you. Our nights here were filled with campfires and our days were filled enjoying climbing and meeting other travelers from all over. It was the simple life at its best!
Climbing became a passion in my life almost 10 years ago and has taught me so many lessons during this time. The most important one is that it taught me to think about the path that lies ahead, but don’t let it distract or scare you from what’s in front of you at this current moment because that’s what matters most. If you lose what’s in front of you, you may never see how the path finishes and you won’t get that view from the top.

Item Details: This one of the most detailed pendants that I’ve ever created! This one of a kind artisan pendant features an absolutely stunning Picture Jasper stone whose details and lines are so intricate that it really does look like someone drew a rock face on the stone. I’ve used the natural details as the background for my tiny rock climber to climb up and over the cliff into the Sunstone sunshine. I’ve even tried to line his foot up with the “foot holds” on the stone! At the base of the mountain you’ll find the native Joshua Tree with a small cactus beside of it. All of the details were intricately crafted by hands and took many hours to complete. This beautiful nature scene is encased in a handwoven copper wire frame that has been oxidized and polished. Comes on your choice length of antique copper chain.

Protective Lacquer: Due to the intricate details in the nature scene, these details will be coated with a protective lacquer finish to help keep them bright and shiny for as long as possible so there’s no risk damaging them while polishing your pendant. If you’d like, I can also coat the woven frame in the same protective finish. These types of lacquers may eventually wear off over time, but I will supply an abrasive polishing pad that you can use to polish the wire and remove the lacquer when the time arrives.
